The Storage Process

How it all works

1  First and foremost

  • You’ll need to make an initial judgement on how much space you’ll need so we can provide you with the most suitable storage solution – this can always be altered should your requirements change!
  • Bear in mind we offer both internal and external storage containers – this might be something to consider.
  • Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any special requirements; we’ll do the best we can to cater for them!

2  Checking in, and what to bring

  • Two forms of ID
  • Photographic ID (such as your passport or driving license)
  • Proof of your address (such as a utility bill less than 3 months old or a bank statement)
  • If your address is due to change during your rental period, please provide us with your future contact details.
  • Emergency contact details – an alternative contact who can be called should an emergency arise.
  • Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the items you are storing are adequately insured. To make this more straightforward and affordable for you, we can provide insurance for just £1/week per £1000 stored. Find out more here.
  • Total replacement value for the items you’ll be keeping in storage.
  • Payment for your storage – this can be in the form of cash, bank transfer or credit/debit card.

3  You’re all checked in, now what?

  • You’re all ready to store your items! We’ll show you to your reserved storage container and from there it’s time to unpack
  • We recommend reading our storage tips prior to unloading your items to ensure efficient, safe use of space and ease of access.
  • Should you need assistance, make sure to ask us about our forklift service!
  • Rest easy – we’ll keep your belongings safe and secure!

4  No longer need the storage?

  • No problem – should you no longer require your storage container, we simply ask that you give us 7 days’ notice before moving out.
